Email Marketing for Campgrounds, Powered by Your Booking Data

Your bookings already hold what good email marketing runs on - who stayed, what they booked, and when they're due back. Camper BMS turns that into synced contacts, ready-made segments, and guest emails that send themselves at the right moment, all through your own email marketing platform.

A guest stays for a long weekend, has a great time, and drives home. Months later your shoulder season is looking thin, and the people most likely to fill it are the ones who already know they like the place. The catch: those guests live in your booking system, while your email marketing lives somewhere else. Bridging the two by hand - export a list, clean it up, upload it - is the job that never quite gets done.

Camper BMS closes that gap. Connect Camper BMS to your own email marketing platform and your booking data keeps your audience current on its own - consented guests synced, tagged, and ready to email, with consent handled in both directions. You bring the platform; Camper BMS keeps it fed. Here's what that looks like.

Bring Your Own Platform

Your email list is one of the few marketing assets you fully own, and Camper BMS keeps it that way. It lives in your own account, goes out under your brand and your sender details, and stays on your plan. Camper BMS is the pipe that keeps it filled and up to date.

You connect the platform you use, and Camper BMS handles the sync. ActiveCampaign and Klaviyo are supported today. Connecting takes a couple of minutes from the Marketing area: link your account, pick the list your guests should sync into, and from there it runs quietly in the background.

Every Consented Guest, Synced

Once you've connected and run your first sync, Camper BMS fills your chosen list with the guests who have opted in to marketing, then keeps it current as new bookings come in. Each guest arrives as a contact carrying what you need to personalise and segment:

  • Their name and the park they stayed at, for personalisation.
  • How many stays they've completed, and the date of their last stay.
  • Their next stay, when they have an upcoming booking.
  • The site type that best fits their stay - a cabin, a powered site, and so on.
  • Lifetime spend across their paid bookings.

On top of those, each guest is tagged with where they are in their journey with you - booked before, stayed before, repeat guest, upcoming booking, currently staying, checked in, checked out, and the site types they've booked. Everything refreshes automatically as bookings change, so your list stays accurate without you ever tidying it.

Bookings Become Triggers

The synced fields tell your platform who each guest is; booking events tell it what they're doing, and that's what lets an automation fire at the right moment. As a booking moves through its life - reserved, confirmed, checked in, checked out, cancelled - Camper BMS records the moment against the guest, along with checkout and order events like Started Checkout, Placed Order, and any cancellation or refund. An automation can react the second a booking is confirmed or a checkout is left unfinished.

Segment and Automate

With your guests synced and tagged, the marketing gets specific. Build a segment for anyone who booked a cabin, anyone past a spend figure you set, or anyone who hasn't been back in a year - the fields and tags are already there. Then let the follow-ups run on their own: a pre-arrival series off a confirmed booking, a thank-you or review request after check-out, a nudge for a checkout someone didn't finish, a win-back journey keyed on a guest's last stay. Build each one once and it works for every guest who fits.

Consent That Stays in Sync

Every contact in your account is there because the guest opted in, and consent stays in sync both ways. Change it in Camper BMS and it updates in your email platform; when a guest unsubscribes from one of your emails, that flows back to Camper BMS automatically. You're only ever marketing to the people who asked to hear from you.

Getting Connected

You don't need to build all of this at once. In the Marketing area of Camper BMS, connect your email platform, choose the list your consented guests should sync into, and run the first sync to backfill everyone who has already opted in. From there it's automatic - new guests and changes flow through on their own. Start with one well-aimed automation - a post-stay thank-you is a good first one - then layer in segments and campaigns as you go.

Turn your bookings into email marketing

Connect your own email marketing platform to Camper BMS and keep a consent-based audience in sync automatically - synced guests, ready-made segments, and automated emails that reach people at the right moment.
